We are proud to share that our project VINCULA has been selected by the Innovation Fund to receive Project Development Assistance (PDA) from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Located in Salamanca (Castilla y León, Spain), our renewable hydrogen project combines a 170 MWe pressurised alkaline electrolyser, a dedicated 405 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) plant and a 900 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to produce RFNBO-compliant renewable hydrogen.
VINCULA will help industrial off-takers reduce their CO₂ emissions and meet their RFNBO compliance targets under RED III.
Receiving EIB Project Development Assistance marks an important milestone in the development of VINCULA. The programme will provide advisory support to enhance selected aspects of the project’s technical and financial maturity.
This recognition further strengthens our commitment to developing large-scale renewable hydrogen and e-fuels projects that accelerate the decarbonisation of industry and Europe’s energy transition.
